jtops... 2.5td manual or 2.8td auto

Post by Harreh »

Ok so here's the deal i've been offered a 2.8auto tin top as a straight swap for the bike I'm selling. Or I can wait till it sells and go buy one of the 3 2.5td

Firstly how good or bad is the auto box, I'm a manual man and I've only ever driven horrible autos until my brohers commodore. Are the 2.8s as good as everyone makes them out to be in comparison to the 2.5 or should I just wait for a 2.8 manual jtop to come up which doesn't seem too often :(

Selling a VFR400 with Learner rego, one of few which have the rego so its somewhat rare.

Theres a few of them on carsales atm but they are all 2.5's I wanna stay away from petrol 4x4s for the moment and I've heard the 2.8 is an awesome engine comparatively
