lots, seperate the batteries, change the alt, and check if all ur incab things are only 12V or they use the 24V, if they use 24V start changing

it has a devorced regulator..... alternator should be ok????

No, you'll need a 12v alternator, it's not just the regulator that determines the voltage.
You'll also need to change starter motor, head/tail lights, glow plugs.
Not sure about things like windscreen wiper motor, heater blower etc.

you will need to change every globe in the car,plus glow plugs and glow plug relay, inj pump control motor+inj pump control module,wiper motor,heater fan motor,washer pump motor,all relays,flasher cans,alternator,starter motor and regulator.Your interior light wiring may also be different(marked 12 or 24v) It's a lot of work am running 24v at the moment, thought of changing but there is no real gain other than having a spare battery tray..24v system when working properly is as good as,if not better than the 12v system.Downside=if you want to run items that require a fair amount of current (ie fridge) you either have to run a 24v inverter or have a third battery set-up.There are ways to do it but you just have to be carefull where you draw your power from. Fridges (and winches) come in 24V as well as 12V though, don't they? So this is not necessarily a huge problem.

just run an scr to convert 24V to 12V and run all your whiz bang accessories off that :D itll handle big current 2

My mog is 24v.

I bought a 24v winch for the same price as a 12v one, and my Waeco runs on 12/24v standard.

For the UHF, I went and bought a little 24->12 reducer. Simple.

also 24v vehicles from factory run a beesdick smaller cable for everything. when you drop to 12v you double you current on every cable, not so significant for the small things but lighting looms (front and rear) may not fair so well.

i bought a mq for 1100 24v and it has fried the wiring... tried to sort out the issues but the further i dug the worse it became so decided to ditch the lot and start again.... has anyone got a 12v control module???
