Modified low mount winch
Has anyone looked into or done any mods to a low mount winch. I was hoping someone on the forum may have made a bigger drum or modified the pins at the back of the winch that break off if the cable spools to one side. Any pics or ideas would be great.
anymore info on this ?turps wrote:Yep all been done.

But there are now some guys in QLD with a modded lowmount that is faster than a himount.

Russel at ARB in rockhampton does these highly modified low mounts, pretty sure he's running 2 6hp motors running 24volt, pneumatic free spool etc. faster than highmounts think he sell's the whole setup for around 6k
