we had that recall here but only on vehicles sold new in aus not imports

That news story is very sad, hopefully no one else has lost their life, or had it seriously damaged, by a major fault that the company new about years earlier.

Who know how many others had previously broken and caused crashes that were attributed to other reasons.

And to say that driving conditions in Japan are different enough to other countries to only be a problem in Japan, WTF?
