will ifs locker fit solid axle

i hav 2 hiluxs atm a 83 solid axle and a 89 sr5 with ifs.

the ifs has a elocker in it and was wonering if u can put that locker into the 83 lux.

i hav had about 100 people say that it is possible but i still dont think it will be and i dont want to pull both the diff centres out just to see if they will work cus thats way to much effort lol.thx

If the Locker is in the ass end then it is possible but if it is in the front end then no as the above post says diff size.
