best shocks for ride comfort and articulation

tyre pressure makes more difference in mine than what shock i use, i have tried about 4 types and they all suck with any more than 25psi in the tyres, i now run 18-20 psi around town and 40psi for trips to give me more grunt (less friction, better econ ect...) then let them down again.

For a start its a long wheel base i should have mentioned that to start with. It has 50mm extended bumpstops in front and standard in the rear, the rear springs have the load leaf removed aswell as the smallest leaf it consists of 3 leafs, the fronts are as i bought them 4 leafs. but it still wont touch the bump stop it picks up wheels. But as i said wont come close to bumpstops by about 40mm.

mine is a lwb also and doesnt even come close to touching the bumpstops
its cause there is no weight. But i carry 3-400kg in mine for work so i have lifted leafs and rancho 5000's, as i kept killing standard ones.
why dont you raise the tray and use standard leafs assuming ures is a trayback.

mines style side i will pull the shocks out this weekend and see if it maks much of a difference

Well I've given the shocks a good run on road and a short but demanding run offroad and I am very happy. I'm sure it will come so Shane's suprise that I've had them on the lowest setting since fitting them and this seems to work well, even when laid over. I Will be clicking them up a few notches when I get a set for the front also but I don't want them to be stiffer in the rear than my current calmini front so I've left them on 1 for the time being. Also I now have the benifit of cranking them up a fair bit when I load up for camping trips. They are probably way longer than I will ever use also which is good to know, I have them running in front of the axle on reversed stock bottom mounts and layed right over to nearly the centre on a custom top mount. I think I will gain alot better roll control onroad when I get the front set and play around with the settings.

Yes I am very shocked that you have them on setting 1. It must be rolly, surely. Keep us informed.

It's actually firmed up a little in the rear end over the calmini's, but there is a good chance they were completely stuffed. It's still a pretty rolly vehicle in general but it corners pretty mad for a 4by.
