it depends what you drive mate, and what you drive on.

If the sierra was the be all and end all every one would have one. In the end lets face it, sierra drivers love the zuk, Hilux drivers love the Lux and god forbid jeep drivers for some reason love there vehicles.

I think what alot of people on here loose sight of, not all but alot is that its all about driving them. Modding should be a means to an end,( the end being driving)

we all love to get behind the welder from time to time but lets get out in the sun/ or rain and wheel the heel out of them before they take all of the places we can actually drive them away

Personally i would ditch those shackels. ;) Keep it simple, you will suprise yourself where it will go. Learn what its capable of, then mod it to suit what your want it to do.

I love me shackle, leave em alone :D I might make up a 50mm longer set if they are so bad but since running them i have had no problems.

Ill second the 'get rid of the shackles'

If the car is a DD swampers or similar will suck ass. They would be choice as a offroad only all kind of terrain tyre. I run the 38x12.5x15 on my suzuki and i love them.

The second best tyre ive had would be the Claws or MTR's but these being road suitable choices.

Depends waht you want to do and how much time on the road your car will see. Like you already mentioned a locked zook will put most other 4wds to shame no matter what tyre they are running.

Dont bother worrying about what type of tyre is legal if you want to run a 33
it doesnt exist.
i agree mtrs are great on rock and have awesome road manners. otherwise id try a silverstone or a swamper.
FWIW i recon baha claws could be out performed by the yokohama ht's i run on my 80 series for road use in 99% of qld wheeling conditions. The only thing they do average is go in straight lines in mud. and thye still dont dont do it that well compared to other tyres of the smae price.

its a zook not an 80 series , and the claws are good on rock , not just the sticky's either , if the yoko ht can out perform the claws in your enviroment maybe you need to drive something a bit harder than the bunnings carpark Very Happy
doesnt matter what car your put a claw on its still a claw. ive driven on them in a few cars and seen them on lots more and the only thing i rate them for is making your truck look cooler.
anyways i recon they are sh1t you recon they are the sh1t he can search on here make up his own mind

ps ditch the shackles, get the grinder out and make the tyres fit
