06 gu st 17 inch alloys, will 16s fit?

ryano or anyone else in the loop...

prob hitting cape in june now, hoping to only take one spare and interchange tyres with mates should any flats come our way... shall be a little short on room for a 2nd spare..

so will the 16 inch alloys from say 02-04 ish fit on mine the 06 with 17s with rubber of similar size obviously..

thought of taking a tire not on a rim? tie up to the rear spare wheel..

2x tire levers and compressor, as good as a full spare :)

i had not to be honest but might be a plan b.... shall see what ryano thinks and prob borrow a tyre if need be.... investigations shall continue :D

My 06 4.2 now sports 16's. Im glad the soft alloy cans are off now TBH.

pressumably they would but was not 100% if the same offset or if both 7's or 8's in width

ok cheers ryano... save me carrying 2 spares me thinks... might just be a bit lop sided if i have to borrow the boys rubber :D

ps good mate of me and brus, chris- his old man wants more rubber prob same as last lot you sold him micky t at i think & chris wants a pair of small light forces.. they shall be itouch i'm sure.. told them ryano would give them a special deal :D and i'll be in to get a MTZ as a spare soon also.

16's fit on my mates 4.8 patrol and they've got the biggest brakes ( i think )
