in my 3.0TD hilux i run:

Engine: Delo 400 (one of the few oils with high enough calcium levels for the jap TD motors)

Gearbox: Fuchs Semi Synth 75w80
Transfer: Fuchs Semi Synth 75W80
Rear locked diff: Fuchs 90w140 hypoid
Front locked diff: Fuchs 90w140 hypoid

The semi synth oil makes the gear changes really sweet,, and the heavier gear oil in the diffs is recomended for extreme use and locked diffs.

Mate at work on all the 3.0td that come in we always use a semi synth oil for gear oil! Becuase the run such high boost these days in these small engines the oil burns really quick! most semi synth oils dont seem to burn as quick! We use synforce cruiser oil up at work! Boss likes synforce so thats what we use! there must be a reason behind it becuase he has been a mechanic for over 40years now and he only likes to run his cars and trucks on the best as most mechanics do! As for the rest we always go off what the service manual says! Semi synth oil in the gear box is a good idea but i dont worry about it and neither does anyone at work! and we dont touch auto boxs there! we just check the oil! Depending on what type of diffs you have is to what type of oil we use! front diff becuase its just a normal open we usally just use normal gear oil! whatever we use in the gear box and for the rear depends weather its LSD or open! for LSD we use Castrol VRX90 i beleive it is called. Good oil but pricey! and way i hope this helps! any more questions just ask!
