Where is the engine number?

Post by dansedgli »

Sorry for the dumb question. I searched and couldnt find the answer I needed.

Im trying to find the engine number on my TB42.

Is it the 5 digit number next to the dizzy on the block?

It doesnt match my rego sticker so Im unsure.

There should br a "TB42" next to it.

It may have had an engine change or some idiot read the wrong number when doing the rego inspection.

Found it! Thanks guys.

The number I was looking at was on the passenger side of the block.

The number is behind and below the dizzy cap, and the number is facing the sky.

Its as plain as day once you find it.
