how to tell difference between gq and gu diff centres

Not from the outside, the shampher on the crownwheel is deeper cut on some GU centres, and GQ low cut crowns wont fit that hemisphere

Here in Panama all GQ SWB and LWB came from Japan with H233Bs. GQ UTEs came with H260s. GU SWB and LWB came with both H233Bs and H260s.

As you would notice, the H233B is round (the pumpkin) and the H260 has a flat spot at the bottom.

Forgot to mention, H233Bs 3rd member bolts on to the diff housing with 11 bolts and H260s with 12...

yeah, but the flat spot on the H260 wouldnt affect the shape of the centre would it?

Not sure about that one.

This guy shaved his H260 and as you can see, he removed material from outside but never touched the internals. Found this in another post right here ...
