Compressor mounting

Post by maccapacca »

Have you any room to mount pump under the front passenger seat leave solenoids in engine bay and run hose out through firewall. Pick up power supply inside cab.

If mounting inside, possibly in side of draw cavity above rear wheel arch.
But would it get ecough air, sound would be muffled.

I would move the vacuum tank and fit it there, far left.
I was able to fit a vacuum tank over by the brake booster, Leaving enough room to fit the compressor and solenoids on the left, but mine was a 2.8

in my gq i had 2 arb's running fine under the drivers seat or in my gu (4.2) theres a nice spot close to the firewall on the passenger side that might just need a bracket made up to mount it off the wheel arch
