Hi, does anyone know if there is any difference between gu petrol and diesel fuel tanks. Cheers

No difference in the rear (larger tank) but I'm pretty sure the front (small sub) tank is different. Someone else may be able to confirm that but I'm pretty sure it is the case.

the tanks will be phisically the same, the only difference may be in their sender units, petrols i think have an internal pump, where diesels only have a pickup tube to the bottom,

yeah thats what i thought. Do you think that it will matter if i run the in tank pump as well as the diesel injector pump?

it will depend on the presure that the intank puts out, because it will be an EFI pump to suit the motor, olso will depend if the EFI pump can handle moving diesel fuel due to the viscosity,
