Been thinking about one of the in the space cab/ extra cab version, some pretty good deals going over here at the moment. Guess they have'nt changed engine/trans etc recently. Interested in any first hand experience with them or any camparo write ups you fellas might have seen, against say the B-250, ranger, hi lux

some shit hot deals in his words happening on east coast at moment..

mates 08/09 cab chassis 4x2 t/d navara looks to be leaking alot of oil out of the intercooler hoses. nissans fix was to tighten the hose clamp. 10,000 km's :neutral:

i assume your talking about the D40.
engine etc is the same however auto version now has DPF hence it tends to drink more fuel.

if its blowing oil out then most likly someone has overfilled it with engine oil and its blowing it out the breather and into the intake. i highly recommend a decent catch can.

there are two versions of the navara for sale ATM there is the D22 and the D40. First thing todo is find out what model youre looking at the D22 is the older shape one, ive not heard anything bad a bout ether depending what you want to do with it more aftermaket parts will be avalible for the D22

I know people who have the d40s & think they are peices of shit & cant wait to get rid of them & get another hilux. These guys use them every day in on dirt roads & they spend more time at the dealership being fixed under warranty. Nissan warranty isnt worth shit.
Go a hilux or a BT50 or the ford version

there are a few recalls for the D40.
