the rear bar on my missus zook is made out of 100x50x6 c section sorry no pics
This bar was made out of 40mm tube was the first bar i made but we hit a tree and it twisted it
This was the bar on my zook. I made a similar one for the red one above this one was welded straight to the chassis (not advisable) and the one i made for the red one was 70mm tube for the main bar mounts were 6mm flat welded to chassis, 25x50 rhs were welded to the 70mm tube and the other end was welded to another two plates to bolt it up the plates welded onto chassis 50mm tube for top and bottom hoop.
sorry for the long post these are the only pics i have of it
hope this helps you mate
cheers jesse

I 2nd that ive seen bazooked ram a tree in his old shorty with a arb bar and only put a little dent in it, if it had have been a stock bumper his front end would have been rooted he also said he had hit a dunlop dog (big hairy paint ad dog) doing 110kmh and didnt even mark it.sheps wrote:if you want strength, protection and ok looks from a sierra bar
there is only one choice and that is a arb bar. this one has slammed heaps off stuff and has never broken a mount or damaged the car.
Ill see if bazooked has the video of him ramming the tree on his computer its a crack up
