hey just want to know the timing for a g16b efi motor, because on idle mine ran between 10-15btdc ? without moving the distributor

hey mate
i
have mine set to 5-6 BTDC and idles around 700-900 rpm
dont quote me but i think that is what the factory manual says

hi mate
yes i did do that grounding thing with the pin in the plug which in mine is behind to drivers side head light. on my car i have a sticker that says run at 5-6 deg BTDC.

also do u guys think this is ok when running on premium 91 fuel?

91 ron fuel is not premium, its normal aussie crap spec fuel. Premium is usually 95 ron, and really good premium is 98 ron.

ok,
at my local petrol station it says premium unleaded 91, would it run ok on 95-98? if not then what should the timing be set to?

yeah i didnt earth that diagnostic tester. how do you do that what plug is it and what tools do you need
