Would be interesting to see what it is actually like, if its just been sitting around for 20yrs.
And 2800 is a lot of K's if it's never been on the road.

it is very clean but the dates on the photos are 2 years old

Yeah sure it could be totally legit and sure it's very clean and new looking but $40k for something that still drives and handles like old school technology and is not really an exceptional model of it's period??? Don't see the value in it myself but then I fail to see the historical significance of it.

Things like this rarely live up to the owners thoughts. I remember seeing an early 90's Ducati in similar circumstances. Never been ridden, had like 10 miles on the odo and been parked up since new and all the talk about was not wow what a bargin but man how much would be wrong with it from sitting around.
