superior leaf springs for 60 series rear?

hey guys, i ordered my drop shackles last night and was lookin at superior leaf springs they are 10" longer, has anyone used them or seen them working?

10'' longer!! wholly crap how is that going to work? you have to cut and weld new mounts on or use a 1' shackle? I fitted 2'' longer springs and that has made a huge difference but if you go to long shackle angles go up the creek and as does load capacity

yeah i have to move my front mount 10" forward, not worried about load i dont carry anymor than a fridge and a swag, i just want flx

I'm guess your talking rears only as that would be a prick with the fronts!

Have you checked weather you will even get that flex with the longer springs and not be limited by something else?

In my car the limiting factor is tyre clearance, the tyres rub hard on the sidewall of the rear guards not allowing more droop. Springs and shocks have more left in them too.

What you doing upfront? 2'' shackles and 75 series front would probably be your best cost effective solution

yeah rear only atm, im going 3" wheel spacers not sure bout the front yet maybe the same will have to talk to ppl about it went i replanish my funds again :lol:
