Replacing tierod end

Post by nicbeer »

Hey,

Whats the go with replacing the tierod end?

Count the old spline and then reinstall new one same as?

How do u remove the old tierod end from the tierod. (drivers side btw) as the boot is fugged and thread on the nut is dead also.

It looks like a big spanner may fit around it but not played with it yet.

I've heard if you're replacing the tierod ends it's best to do both sides.

Not too sure how you'd go about doing it as I've never had to do it and haven't bothered looking in to it either.
