divorced transfer cases
what vehicles besides zooks run a divorced transfer case if someone can give me a list would be good im looking for a case that will handle about 130kw and about 350nm of torque and can be connected with a jack shaft behind a v6 with auto.... thanks

you sure its not gear driven? i thought the reason you cant do reduction gears in it is due to a lack of room, not because its chain...coxy321 wrote:I'd go the MQ/MK transfer. A transfer case you can't get gears for isn't worth having IMHO, regardless of how unbreakable it is.
In any case, most cases are broken by lack of servicing, water/mud ingress, impact, or driveshaft bottoming.
Very very few cases ever break due to the torque loads they are asked to handle.
I'd forgotten about the hilux divorce kit.
Atlas are also available divorced.
However, if you are V6 and auto, I'm going to guess you can run a connected hilux transfer. That's what I'd be doing.
