5 link's

Post by B.D.R »

G'day.

I'm looking at buying a gq and getting a five link front end, what i need to know is it possible to limit travell while on road.

Could some sort of strap work?
The reason is i've heard it's pretty dangerouse to drive at highway speeds with one fitted.

TIA

id talk to THUNDER off this board, he has a GU lifted 6" with a 5link fitted and he just finished a round trip NSW-QLD back to NSW with it all fitted, he would be able to definatly tell you how it handles.

A limit strap would work, just set it up right, but a QR swaybar would work far better. Overall travel will still be limited by shock length, and this will be determined by the spring you choose.
