awesome tracks

Post by BISSGXL »

Went down to Noojee today with Ginge and Mr Norman to check out the tracks. Mooney and Coops have done an awesome job! Looks like some pretty tough tracks should be as good as or even better than last year.
Smithi put his rig down 2 tracks until he broke a rear axle. Round 1 should be great!!!

Log Books R1

Post by Ginger Patrol »

As we are only a week away from round 1 can I ask you all to make sure that all you log books are up to date and you are ready for scrutineering on Friday. If you have a ROPS number between 100-250 you should have by now done your annual scrutineering and be bringing the form with you if you have not already sent! DO NOT SEND ANY INFORMATION TO ME NOW BRING IT WITH YOU!

I will be sending the event scrutineering / indemnity forms early next week but please can I ask that you do not turn up to scrutineering without making sure you have everything in order. This include navi equipment and information!

Please remember it is your responsibility to make sure you have all the current paperwork and equipment. If you fail to do so at the event you will not be eligible to compete it is that simple. Do not waste your time and money by turning up to the event and find you have left your rego at home as you will have a long dive home to get it!

Please feel free to contact me if you any concerns.

Not may sleeps until next week!!

And don't forget about the breakfast on both days at the event is being cooked by the Vic All Terrain Club to make it easier for you. I'm sure it'll be eggs'n bacon, snags, jeez we may even have hash browns and I'll see if we can arrange for some juice and some coffee.
Any special requests don't hesitate to let me know and I'll see what I can arrange :D

Competitors get the Sat nite meal as part of entry. Breakfast both days is a pay for what you eat affair being cooked by the Vic All Terrain 4wd Club. I believe there will be spectator food on Sunday and I'm sure the Vic All Terrain crew can do Sat lunch if you ask nicely.

Went to property last night.

Tracks very wet and slippery!!

The only major problem I knew of when I left at about midnight was Clive Denholm, from what I was told, broke a front radius arm and with that the tailshaft went through the auto.

The 2 fastest cars I saw for the night on SS1 were Neil Cooper and GQ Hoon (in his Carby Petrol GQ Ute).

For most of the night the rain was on and off, but toward the end I think some of the tracks may have dried out a little.

Huddy did arrive, late, but was able to join up with his group and not miss any stages.

Should be a good day today as well, the cars were due to start at 6:30am this morning.
