I had this very same problem when i put poly airs into my GU with a 3 inch lift.
They supplied to small poxy spacers that moved out of position everytime my spring flexed down.
I went to a plastic supplier and they machined up two 3 inch spacers out of poly ethelene and to the inside diameter of the coil, the poly airs sat nicely on the top.
I had a 10mm clearence hole drilled through the spacers, then i counter boared down the dept of the bolt head then i droped a 3.5 inch bolt through and bolted them down through the hole in the bottem spring retainer
Was a cheap and perfect fix.
