t.belt reset button

Post by sup8pdct »

I have changed my timeing belt on my 1HZ, and then pressed the little reset button on the speedo. the t.belt light is still on. Am I doing something wrong or is the button not working properly?

tlight reset

Try pushing the reset button again. If you press to reset the light for the next 100000k's it will light up first push then should go out on the second push...

I have pressed the button more then once, in every concibable combination I could think of. It is still on. next thing to do is pull dash apart and out with hammer to teach it a lesson on turning off.

Thanks pete.

You also need to get a longer dipstick, the one you have will be too short. It also helps if you dip the end of the dipstick in some black paint up to the full line - it helps to see the oil level better.
