because its an unknown brand as far as i can tell.
likely one of the god awful chinese ones that are utterly useless.
there are some decent ones coming out of china, but they are companies selling their own gear and fighting for the reputation they are earning.

These turbos are copies made in china. Some are quite good quality, but beware, these require a restrictor in the oil feed line as without one the rear oil seal will blow out causing turbo failure.
There are a few different sellers on ebay aus selling these turbos, some also offer warranty.

This link below is probably a bit more relevant (us being in australia and all):

Its too big for a hilux to start off (unless you have a 2.7P).

As said, its just a cheapy chinese banger - which isn't always a bad thing. There are a few people in the drifting scene that use the chinese KKK branded units with no dramas. From memory i think the PEER crew might have used some as a part sponsorship gig a while back.

Both ebay turbos shown are the same fotos.. surprise surprise...
I read "somewhere" the chances of a lasting chinese turbos are abt 1 in 10.. :D :D Though as love70 says there may be some decent ones coming out of China, I'm sure some producers are quite capable of making good stuff...
