I looked into a LR tank for my Sierra for quite a while.
I you are not prepared to pay that sort of money you will have to wait around for a second hand tank, or give it a miss altogether.
I ended up buying a 20L jerry can, and am now putting a more fuel efficient motor in my car (which has other added benefits too ).

Wheeling on completely wicked angles, without even looking stable.

i guess you could look on ebay ect.
thanks
Forums like this one. I can recall one from a coily Sierra for sale on here once (think it was here anyway).
www.autotrader.com.au
and similar websites
and yeah ebay too I guess.
LR tanks for any type of suzuki dont seem to come up for sale too often anyway, so you will need patience.

not carrying a can would be nice, not having to stop, and mess with the syphon hose (every other method has rewarded me with the lost of halfa litre or more putting it in)petro works do a sierra plastic long range (new design, extra baffles, efi pump option) starting at US$395. People adapt vitara tanks to sierras maybe its possibe to the oposite

Yes, its definatley possible to adapt a sierra LR tank into a vitara / how much work it would be, i dunno.
That said, i have a standard swb vitara tank in my sierra and its a good fit, and was easily 'adapted'.
when looking for a second hand tank though, if your vitara is efi, keep in mind sierra tanks have no internal fuel pump or swirl pot.
why not get a metal shop to modify your original tank?
