Blueant Talkpad Bluetooth Car Kit?

Anyone used one?

Im after a decent Hardwired Kit that has its own speaker. I dont want to tap into the vehicle speakers.

Do you specifically want a separate speaker, or is it simply that you don't want to cut and splice your existing speaker wires?

I haven't used that blueant, but I did look at it when I was searching.

I bought a Parrot something (C3000?) which uses a plug-in interface to the car stereo, so the speaker wires haven't been touched. It automatically mutes the stereo, and the call comes through the speakers.

It also has voice command capability, but I haven't bothered figuring it out - I don't make that many calls.

i got a couple of sony erricson ones recently yet to install them though they used to be quite expensive but have come down in price dramatically

so much so i got 2 instead of just one :)

I think a lot of the Hardwire kits are comming down in price as most just buy the visor mount kits. But these are useless to me. They dont work well in trucks and they remain connected to the phone while your in the rear of the truck loading or unloading :bad-words:

i used to be like that till i was given one of their phones, rotten thing is still going too lol
