Hi just wanting some feed back from you guys i have a 91 gq lwb and it is on duel fuel and i'm wanting to turbo her my problems are i still want to be able to carry enough fuel now staight gas seems to be the cheapest way to go but just not to sure how much fuel i could carry and what the economy would be like i have a small (36 litre) gas tank behind the back seat and i have a draw setup and fridge slide that i don't want to lose, the car has to petrol tanks i think it holds like 140 litre all up i mainly just want to know some gas tank combos you guys may be running and the sort of km's you are getting out of a straight gas turbo setup. thanks for helping.

hey mate, i run a strait gas turbo set up, a bit different as i have a ute but i have 2x i think 115 litre tanks in it, i get about 650 kms all up out of them and thats not driving it slow either

hey kysi thats pretty sweet economy, if i get even close to that ill be happy :D hehe but what can i say, traffic light drags are my thing .... :P its the only way to reach 60 before the next set ;)

i highly recomend the guys at PGS, they done alot of the work on my engine, and they did it very quick and with great results, and overall explained everything i asked in depth and to top it off are a nice bunch of blokes

Maybe look at a bigger gas tank behind your seats/chopping a bit outta the draws? Other thing to consider is that you can get petrol just about anywhere, but gas can be a bit harder.

oh i forgot to add, if your running straight gas you can safely fit 3 tanks in

2 110L (90 ish useable) under the car, and one in the back of the wagon :) the one in the back is up to you, im using apa ford wagon scuba style tanks tho, and im gonna make a false floor over them :) so all up i should have around 230 ish litres of useable gas (ford tanks are 65L so about 50 ish useable)

ford BA/BF wagon twin scuba tanks are 116L aprox 90-95 useable

Absolutely correct, and im looking for one myself.......if anyone knows where i can get one at a reasonable price....

yes thats true, but they are larger in size, the beauty of the el - au tanks is there is 3 of them, and they fit below your wheel arches in the back of the wagon, so very neat to build a false floor over
