calmini convertable roof rack for sierra sj80

Post by SiZook »

hey all

was just browsing the old ebay and found a suzuki sierra sj80 softtop
with the calmini roof racks ( you know the ones that bolt to the doors and rear quarters)
and was wondering if they fit without mods was there a difference with the shape of the body from sj70 to 80
also do you know where i might find calmini barwork in Australia or is it a order from the states kinda thing ??

thanks alot guys

sj80 are 10mm longer between the b pillar and the press studs on windscreen frame, and the windscreen frame is different (extra length due to this), otherwise all the same

There are a few places in oz where you can get calmini gear (not just their suspension and gears). Three that i know of are high country customs (think they're in NSW), 4wdusa (not sure if this is the right name, they're in WA and seem to be chepaer than the others, freight costs could be a killer though) and southside performance in tassie which is probably also out. There may be more, I couldn't say for sure. I know Snake racing sells some calmini stuff. The first three can import just about everything calmini make but costs depend on the exchange rate I would imagine.
