ok im interested to hear from you blokes which run/or have run 35" tyres on your hilux's...how much do you move the front diff forward ??...this is to stop tyre rubbing on firewall.

my diff is 1.5 inches foward, and didnt have any issues with rubbing, cept a little on my shock but that can be fixed with bigger offset rims or spacers
i would agree that 1.5 is good for 35's. i had no suspension lift, 2 inch body and axle foward and the 35's didnt rub. will now have a problem with them rubbing on the front of the fender well.
I run Q78`s (just under 36) with 2 inch wheel spacers and have moved front forward 40mm. I have also belted the back of the wheel arch with a sledge hammer and slightly cut the guards. I don`t have any rubbing on body work at all, but the tyres do come to within about 2mm when new.
