The local Auto Shop has a single spotlight at a good clearence price.
I have a set of lights on the Patrol already. I vaguely remeber reading that it is illegal to have an uneven number of lights??????? Is this right? Something about being semetrical on left and right side of the vehicle??
Can anyone clarify this, or is it ok to install an extra light?

Use it as a Reverse light?
But yes, symmetrical as per http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/NR/rdonl ... /VSI10.pdf page 12

Thanks for clarifying. No need to get 'extra attention'. It would only be used for night runs. If it was on a separate switch, it would probably be 'more legal' too - ie, run independently to exixting ligts.
