Post by SIM79 »

Just found out that staun is making there own rims with two valves. They look fugly but must be the only legal beadlocks for road use now.

True, providing your purchase your rims with 2 valve holes already in them as drilling the second hole technically involves modifying the rim.

A4WDA had 2 sets of those rims for one of their Bush Mechanic Challenges when Roothy had the old iron pig, and glenn gave the pajero a punishing. IMHO - ugly as a hat full, but like anything opinions differ :)
Cheers,
Dan.

Another company has started making rims for stuan beadlocks
[QUOTE=tim90;9159185]We have a forged allied that they make to run with Stauns, has "Staun Equipped" engraved in one of the spokes. The lips are really beefy and hold up well (even when you run them without a tyre! Don't ask :shaking: )

Curiosity got the better of me, I rang TJM and got quote of some 15x10 rims, $550 each without beadlock or $700 with beadlocks and you still need to pay for fitting.
Walker Evans rims look cheap now, I just wish they were wider.
