does anyone know the KW (HP) of the the 4.5l straight 6,the 4.7 V8. and the Turbo diesal, and the later Turbo diesal intercooled,
And which one has the most grunt??, (not towing)

The early 4.7's were 170 KW at the flywheel, the later ones (06 IIRC) were 180 or 190kw.

My old 4.7 with supercharger makes 185kw at the wheels.

Thanks for that, ive since found out the std diesal 96kw torque 285Nm, the TDi direct injection efi was 151kw 430Nm, the 4.7 V8 170kw 410Nm, suprisingly the 4.5 efi was 165kw 387Nm,
When was the V8 4.7 updated ?? to the higher KW.
and has there been an update on the TDi since 2002??

there were 2 different variants of the 80 series 1fz the early one with the airflow meter was 158kw late map sense type is 165

the 1hd fte direct injected diesel has 2 variants ute 122kw 100 series wagon 151kw

no more power was offered in newer models
