spray on liners for sills?
I was on Ih8mud when I stumbled on this thread
http://forum.ih8mud.com/hardcore-corner ... in-20.html
I like that idea and it looks good on his 60. Has anyone done this here in Oz? If so what products did you use? I was poking around a bit and I'm not seeing the US products here in Oz.
thanks

A while ago I bought a big tin of Hurculiner tray liner meant for a DIY application. Haven't used it yet but comes with rollers and good instructions. I chanced upon it on Ebay someone must have been bringing kits in. There's heaps of info on Herculiners web site. Also saw some brand of tray liner in supercheap or autobarn the other day but didn't recall the brand.
A guy in town does spray on liners like the stuff you see on garage/workshop floor form time to time. We worked on a bike race trailer he had done. Don';t know brand but it's not cheap and it's very rough to walk on.

I can give you contact details of Hurculiner distributor in NSW in needed. Cost is about $250 a tin plus freight.midi73 wrote:I left a question on the nissan page, but I never usually go in there so I will ask here. do you have the contact details of the bloke who sells the hippo lining?SWBMQCraig wrote:Here is what i put in my interior.. would be easy to do to the sills too and its tough stuff.. bit pricy tho..

Woah, that looks like the size and same kit i bought but I guarantee you I didn't pay anywhere near that for it. Unless it has gone up that much in a couple of years. I would not have bothered at that price for the application I had in mind at the time. Sure it only cost me a bit over $100.midi73 wrote:http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 0339178445fester2au wrote:A while ago I bought a big tin of Hurculiner tray liner meant for a DIY application. Make sure it's fresh. If it's old stock the solids will settle and no amount of stirring will break them up.
Ask me how I know
IMHO herculiner is far too textured for sills. It will hold the world's supply of dirt and look terrible, and will have to be cleaned with a scrubbing brush.
Rhino lining is definitely smooth enough to work in that application.

The Bloke in gympie is Wayne and his linner is speedliner. there is a website if you want to check it out. I have my suzuki truggy inside completly linned and also underside of bonnet and fire wall. The only reason Andrews trailer is so rough is the texture coat he aplys for non slip.
It would work on sills.

What was the cost? In Newcastle speedliner is just as expensive as Rhino. I would use it if it was not so pricey.
