They are damm expensive new... ($500+) so if you want one its an opportunity.

If you have the rear seats in ( you obviously hate your passengers :D ) the the barrier is a problem as you can't get in and out......

If your camping it just makes life so much easier and safer with a load of stuff.

Side story ....... was bolting down the toolbox in the rear and got sick of hanging out the back, so decided to get in all the way. Few moments later ... clunk the rear door closed..... kept on working away, then needed something to discover that there's no internal release for the rear door.

No problems simply reach to the front and press - Damm cargo barrier now I'm locked in the back @#$%@%

After some pondering.... and picturing starving to death in the Mouse... I discovered you can reach the outside handle through the back rear window.

Not really the cargo barriers fault - but felt pretty stupid.
( usual disclaimers )

It seemed like a much better idea when I started it than it does now.

I have never fitted it, but as far as I know it mounts where the floor drops down to the front, and sits tight up against the seats.
You could easily modify the mounts to suit your needs.

They do mount where the rear floor rises, but to be honest the instructions are so lousy you have to figure out the wheres and hows pretty much from scratch.

I can assure you they do fit ( at least mine does..... ) but i remember having to rebend brackets etc etc to get it to go where I wanted it - which was "sort of" where the instructions said.

But all said and done they are a VERY usefull piece of gear once you get it sorted. Well worth the effort IMO.
