If it's anything like a 2nd Gen 4 runner, fit a custom snorkel into a custom air box that sits on top of the passenger side wheel well, this will allow you to turf the factory air cleaner and put a second battery in it's place.

Use a PC920 Odyssey to start the car, and the big one for everything else.

It's 1/3 the size of an N70, has the same CCA rating (but not the same RC) , can be mounted at any angle, and is sortof heat tolerant.

Yeh that is a old pic when i had the 2.8 in it, it is the same setup on the 3.0L 5le motor running the same turbo as it the pic. I actually needed this air box as it is from a 2Lte and this motor has a air flow sensor (i blocked it off when i had my 2.8 in there) and when put in the 5le motor i umm'd and ar'd thinking about where to drill the hole for the sensor (thought later d### head i forgot about that)- it plugged straight in (lucky i thought about it a bit  )

yes it fits up to the snorkel that was there on the truck before that airbox as it has the same size intake. This came with the 2lte air intake hose as seen in the pic (hose that goes from outlet on airbox the intake manifold/ turbopipe) i jst used the factory hose and cut a little off the end.

And no i didn't have to modify the powersteering at all... not even close to being a problem.

When i done a the coil conversion i got the air box and had the 4 runner chassy there i drilled out the spot welds on the factory battery tray (4runner) and put it in mine in exactly the same spot and tac'd it back into place through the holes i drilled out.
