hey, my mate has an pajero nh...it currently there are more rotations can be done of the steering wheel turning right than left...which means turning cirle to when going to the left is very dodgy...anyone know what this problem is?also when turning there is a loud clanging noise?any ideas

Drop arm/pitman arm put onto the steering box incorrectly I'd say and it is hittitng the stopper - quite easy to see if you have a look at the steering box when turning the wheel.

Sounds like it has bent steering arm, Had the same problem last year. easy to replace yoruself if you have basic tools. go after market as the factory one are prone to bending when exposed to the ruff stuff.

would have to be pretty bent to give the above signs, im sure the front wheels pointing towards each other would be a dead give away, id be checking ur pitman arm for sure, then go on and check ur steering arms,
