Changing rim offset for 37" iroks

Post by 308LUX »

Came across a set of 15 / 10 sunrasia rims with 5" of backspacing... which makes the 37" x 14" x 15 iroks i run turning circle terrible on my hilux...

Does anyone know of a place in vic that can alters the rim offset ?

And what are the hilux guys rim offsets when on 37" x 14" x15

I run flipped rims, not on road, the more offset the better in my eyes stability wise, more stress on bearings etc though keep an eye on them and tighten them up when needed and its no big deal imo.

Changing offsets wont be cheap, im guessing their flipped already or have been made with huge offset, id leave it like that, 37s cant be driven on road anyway so offset wont bother you for legality reasons.

i didnt explain properly... the 5" is measured from the inside of the rim to the inside flanged face... so the wheel is too close to the springs... i want to bring the flanged face closer to the inside edge... so its closer to 2.5" or 3" moving the wheel outside the wheel arch more

Don't know where you are in vic but you can try;

Bass Ag repairs

they do custom wheel mods etc

[edit] used to be known as eastern wheel works
