racerunner shocks in Hilux

im considering splashing out and getting some 18" racerunner shocks but i need to know if they could fit in my 1986 hilux or should i go for 16"?

for two 16" or 18" (since they are the same price) it will cost me around $900 without including new leaf springs or cost of modifications

I think if you need to ask this then you shouldn't be putting them in...
If your going to 16" or 18" shocks, then you will almost certainly want to make custom shock mounts.
Also I hope you have some flexy leaf springs to work all 18" of travel from the shocks!

What are you going to use your rig for? 18" is a long shock.

Cycle your suspension measure the distance travelled between full compression and full droop . That will let you know what length shocks you will need.
Anything is possible, it just comes down to time and money.
