I have an fj73 and was driving along and tried to clean the windscreen but the wipers didnt move. got home and the fuse is blown. so i tired a new one turned on the ignition and bang it went to. I tested it and for some reason its getting 12v as soon as ignition is on with wipers off and the same the whole way through each speed. What is the problem?
Cheers guys

Check for busted wires mate.
Follow the plug at the motor, back to the switch in the dash.
Give the plug a good clean out and make sure there is no exposed wiring.
Or if you handy with a multimeter narrow it down with that.
Hopefully it's NOT tucked away behind the dash somewhere inside some conduit.
