Ok guys, done a search and didn't find much. anyone got some mods that can be done to give it more power and tourque, it's a 300 Tdi.
would a bigger intercooler make much of a difference? do you remove the exsisting one and replace or put a new one somewhere else? ( I Have VERY limited mechenical know how ) is there any actual mods to the engine that can be made that are fairly inexpensive to undertake? Is it worthwile just putting on a 3 inch exhaust and removing the mufflers?
thanks, Drew

300 Tdi power mods
MOVE OVER, HERE COMES ROVER!!!
1) Fit an exhaust gas temperture gauge and a boost gauge. Use it to keep thing under control.
2) Follow the instructions above to raise boost and fueling to a level you are comfortable with. It is free and will get you 30% more power and 4% more torque.
3) If you like spending money, fit a larger intercooler.
You can remove the muffler, but it won't do much for power as the turbine restricts the exhaust much more. It will, however, decrease spool up time.
