Post by ORSM4B »

Hi guys has anyone used a different fuel pump in there petrol tank other than the factory one. And also does anyone know what fuel pressure it's suppose to be.

fuel pressure should be 260 KPA and above 300 KPA with the vacuum hose off the pressure regulator . There are a number of fuel pumps available aftermarket that will fit as the original is just connected with a hose to the sender unit in the tank . Try Petro-ject or autoservice solutions , or any EFI parts specialists .

$400 is the same price i was quoted from repco for the direct replacement for a nissan patrol.

mine died as i ran the fuel tank dry and the car is 90% used on lpg, pump still works just cannot supply sufficient pressure.
