5W30 NON Synthetic?????

I am having a hard time trying to find 5W30 non-synthetic (mineral oil).

So far, all I can find is Penrite Pro5.

Anyone able to add to the list?? (available in Australia of course)

i cant help ya but i am curious. why do you want a mineral oil?
what about straight 30 plenty of choices there.

In fear of starting a whole new debate, I'll just say that I have my reasons for wanting it.
The straight 30 just won't do for my particular application, although it is good in the lawnmower. I would be interested to know why a lawnmower is better with a mono grade oil though, ....they still get started cold.

i had a air cooled 2 valve 4 cylinder motor made in 79 that was recommended
to run on straight 50. does it mater if it is friction modified?

i think the Valvoline 5w30 is a mineral oil that is synthetic fortified, so
just has synthetic additives as does most oil.

The only Valvoline blended oil is the Engine Armour range,...no 5W30 in it.
Same as their Mineral oil range, no 5W30.

It is looking like the Penrite at this stage. I thought there would be others.

Check what the "base oil" is in each oil type (if it's Ester or POA base stock then it's a true synthetic.) A lot of cheap "synthetics" are nothing more than mineral oils that have been doctored a bit. A legal loop hole allows them to be sold as "synthetics" when in reality they are based on mineral oils and not "man made" at all.

Do a bit of googling and you find a lot of info on the subject.

i hope u arnt using it on a sierra or older vitara coz it will be too thin.
