315's or 35's for gu patrol
as said - not too much difference... IMHO i reckon the 15" rim (especially 15x10's) with 35" tyres look a little too much like donuts on the vehicle and will attract the boys in blue attention a little more than the 16" & 315's. It just looks a little more in proportion.
I got the 315's on 16" dress aloys for on road and light offroad duties and 35's on 15" steel beadlocks for serious offroad play... best of both worlds i think without having a gearing difference due to different sizes daily driving to play. (hope that makes sense)

GU 4.2 TD Garrett BB Hi-flow, M8274 + Bells & Whistles with plenty of fruit still on the list!

yeah i've found that the tyres are cheaper, just wondering why they are not always better??
cheers mate
also there is a difference in max weight load ratings on both.351ciofgrunt wrote:15 inch rim, the 35inch has more sidewall - better for low pressure rock crawling
16 inch rim, the 315 has less sidewall - better for on road driving.
More sidewall to slice isnt always a good thing... Stick with the 315's.
