Hi all,

As Rick's just pointed out, Australian Images got the gig for the Tough Dog Tuff Truck DVD this year for the first time, and Kev and I have just had the busiest 7 weeks of our lives putting it all together. 50 hours of HD footage takes an awful lot of time to get through!!

Just doing a few small tweaks and the DVD will be on it's way to the replicator and all set for the big launch party at BBM on the 13th June.

Big thanks to Greg and all from Tuff Events for putting on a great event and asking us to be part of it. We've tried to make a DVD for everyone this year, with more footage of the trucks actually driving the events and a good covering of every event over the weekend (including the events from both nights). Plenty of rollovers and carnage, a good look at the tech side of the trucks. The DVD has complete info on every team, including what scores they got on each event and what they broke over the weekend. Lots of new music on the DVD, but it's not so loud that you can't hear the action.

The Teaser/Trailer/Promo clip is now up on youtube.....in HD!

I strongly recommend that you watch at least the high quality version, but if you have a fast enough connection (and computer!) then the High Def version is even better. Here are the links:

High Definition version
(Large window, maximum quality)

Regular High Quality version
(Smaller window, lower quality than HD)

If you can't get to BBM's big launch party...

You can pre-order your copy of the DVD now direct from Australian Images and we'll post it out ASAP after the 13th.

Teaser looks awesome. Love that the music is there but so is the redlining, the panel crunching and the crowd cheering.

Good stuff.

Agree totally, sounds like it should be, just having the music in the background enhancing the excitment.

Just forty fun-tickets!
Bargain when you consider how much went into it, nd t goes for a couple of hours if I remember correctly. I wanted it to be $45, but the management team team at Tuff Events reminded me that I was in it, so it had to be cheap so people would still buy it.

Well here in Sydney we will have a few competitors and their rigs (the top 3 place-getters as well!), the BBM 4WD Club will be putting on a BBQ, we will have a few clubs on display, the NSW & ACT 4WD CLubs association will have an info stand, and we will have a jumping castle for the kids.

In Brissy there will be a few of the competitors with there rigs on display, the action will kick off there from around 9am.

The boys over in Perth have plenty going on, including a range of comp rigs on display (go check out the big 100 series from this years event!) and a red-hot sausage sizzle!

Jamie at the Central Coast store will have some of the Newy guys on hand with their rigs, and he will also be debuting his brand new showroom, put together just in time for the big party!

Brett at 4x4 Obsession in Melton will be ready on Saturday with plenty of TT09 DVD's on hand, so drop in and say gday!

The crew from FNB 4WD SUpplies in Mount Barker are bringing Tuff Truck action to the people this year, so all you sandgropers - make sure you pick up your copy of his years DVD from FNB!

Last but not least, the boys in Tassie (NorthWest Offroad) will also have stock on hand in time for Saturday, so all you southern folk have somewhere to go to grab this years DVD too!

Not long to go now folks, Saturday is shaping up to be a great day, so tell your mates, tell your Mums, tell your neighbours, get to your local BBM for the big Tuff Truck DVD Launch party!!!

Sorry Dude, but Tuff Events ran out of stock. I beleive they did a "top-up" order last year after running out but as they were not ordering the same quantities, they had to pay a premium (this makes it hard for them to discount it, even though its retro stock now). They still have a pile of last years stuff left over as a result and are understandably not keen to make the same mistake this year.
I would have loved to have some of the gear to sell here on the day, but that's the way the cookie crumbles I guess. Just more incentive to get to next years TT early and grab your gear before they run out of your size!
But on the bright side, this years DVD looks tops, and we should have plenty enough on the day!!

Rick.
