Subject to council approval
The rumour mill has it that this comp has not got council approval and is likely to be held at Cooma.

Anyone care to comment? Is this a possible outcome? Or maybe the council hasn't given approval....yet...

Great looking property tho.....

The creek entry has been doug & we are putting pipes in today & hopefully finnishing the crossing which is a big job out of the way
Will find another 3-4 stages today
What we need is some comp trucks to come & drive so we can get the courses defined :D

We now have a road into the property
A big thanks go out to the all the guy's & girls that went out today
Thanks goes out to the plowboy (Nic) for getting the truck with the Hyab crane to help us out in getting the pipes into the trailer & helping clean up
I think they got a few stages compleatly peg out with start & finish gates
All comming together great at the moment
The stages will be long & hard
I think there might be a bit of winching to do
Will be onsite camping for spectators & competitors
Will need to bring your own water & take your rubbish away
Basic Food & drinks will be available at the site sold by Trail Track 4x4
If its wet it would be advisable to bring a 4wd to get in but if its dry a 2wd will be able to get in

All stages are marked out now 13 in all
Looking to be one of the hardest ones yet
If there is rain it will be a comp to remember
If its dry there will be no deep bog holes but will be 2 dams to cross
There is lots of rocky hill climbs
Lots of creek runs
Some huge hill climbs
Most stages are long
Some may even have a 30 min DNF
Shaping up to be a great weekend

Post by Dynamic GQ »

Thanks for the list Mel.

Not many entries, come on guys & girls. I went up to the property on the weekend to help out with the working bee. The guys up there have put in a lot of hard work to get the tracks ready for us. There is a combination of high speed runs, technical rock driving, winching & even water.

If anyone is interested in pre-running the tracks there is another working bee this weekend. The guys really need to put some race trucks over the stages, it's only 3 hours away. Pitch in if you can.

Would be great to see some of the girls from Chick Winch entering.
Owen I think you should hand over the keys again & Lisa it would be good to see you there giving the boys a run for their money.
