New battery and completely dead

As per the title,

I have a 1992 sierra which has been a f'king bitch of late.

As a result of a dunking, I have replaced the alternator, starter motor and possibly unrelated, the coil, plugs leads and distributor.

The car is in storage for the short term while in the process of moving.

The other day I went to collect the bitch and she wouldn't start. The symptons were a partially flat battery. This battery has been suspect for a while, so I replaced it.

Now nothing at all. Even the flashing light on the immobiliser isn't flashing.

I have searched, the conclusion I have drawn from this was replace the fuse running from the battery to the ignition (some assumptions here) didn't help either way.

I retried the old battery and there was no difference, ruling out a dud new battery, in my mind at least.

The immobiliser is some aftermarket thing I needed to register the car, it was installed be an auto elec, and has posed no previous problems.

Any clues ?

Admittedly I am new to the Suzuki world, but this has me stumped.

Are you getting your idiot lights?

Have you checked you battery earth and power leads?

Starter relay?

Starter solenoid?

Why did you need an immobiliser for rego?

No idiot lights, no anything actually.

The immobiliser is a WA requirement for getting rego.

I'm not sufficently familiar with the car to know where the relays you mention are, but I do have a manual. So I can hopefully figure it out.

check main fuse / fused wire running from batt-alt and batt to loom also

Clean or spin your battery terminals, if you get nothing at all.

Check the fusable link coming off the battery , Cheers Paul.

check battery is full buy puting a spotlight or voltmeter to it.

then check terminals are tight

then check earths from battery to car body on starter motor, & from motor to chasis.

then check the little wire coming from the postive terminal in not frayer. (had this on 2 different sierras).
i think this is what Paul (MART) is saying also.

This was the culprit. I had already changed this with another new fuse.
Out of desperation I strarted over and when I replaced this one she fired up.
