Hey all !
i've had a small question for which i've had no luck with a right answer on forums..
I've got my self a SWB 2000 GV and threw in OME springs. shocks and struts..i also used 25mm spring spacers from Dave at Bits 4 Vits .
Ok heres the problem...i cant seem to get the camber right i used the 12mm camber bolts as recomended and its still kinda off.is there somthing that im missing??.
Im also planning on doing a 2" Body lift that im making myself.. do you think i would need to extend the brake lines (if yes! then is there anyone you can suggest )
then the question on tyres im planning 245/70/16 .. wot do you think ???

when using 25mm spacers you will get roughly 50mm lift at the wheel. this combined with an ome lift will put the front end beyond what it was designed for. either remove the spacers, lower the front arms or do some other form of modification.

if the 1 inch drop brackets are for the diff housing that will have nothing to do with wheel alignment, only cv angle. as has been said, drop your bottom arms down (lots of work if you include the rack and pinion steering), remove the spacer or fit 2 camber bolts each side (good quality camber bolts only).

The camber bolt is just a cam and when turned it simply pushes the strut in or out to achieve the adjustment.....By using them on both strut bolts means you can achieve double the movement allowing for more correction for bigger lifts (3 inches is about the max you would want in the gv front end)...
The bolts are inherently weaker by design thats why joe said use only good quality bolts.
