What is the largest tyre that will fit a B2600/Courier with 2" body lift. Was told 31" regardless of any body/sus lift or cutting due to scrubing and interfering with IFS.
fit the body lift, fully articulate your suspension on a ramp, measure for clearance where the tyre could possibly foul. every inch of clearance you have should allow 2 inches increase in tyre diametre. that is not 100% accurate as your new tyres may be on different rims with more or less offset. this changes where things may scrub. however, it will give you a fair guide on what is possible without trimming. if you're prepared to trim then the possibilities increase greatly.
the other approach is to buy the biggest tyres you can and don't sleep till they fit.

You have to ask yourself how far you want to go the bigger the tyre the bigger the gearing that rides your clutch and puts the speedo out and makes it hard stop and to rockhop in low. Can u get taller diff gears for a courier or different transfer gears. 31" are proberbly still just legal and drivable without spending lots of time on the phone searching and money.

with a vehicle like this you may want to think about what you want it to do and how far you want to mod it. With next to no aftermarket support you will be left to custom stuff which can get quite $$$$. If you can do alot of the stuff yourself fine but if you're paying someone
If you want a full on 4wd modded machine maybe in the long run it will be cheaper to get a Hilux and go from there. Good luck either way and make sure you post pics

I have 31 inch TOYO MT's (they look like BAJA CLAWS) on 15x7 rims on my work Courier and they hardly touch and thats with no lift at all. And i havent noticed any changes as to the way it drives. In the morning i will be fitting a 2 inch suspention lift and ill let ya know how it goes

I used to have a Bravo and I fitted 235/85/16 Cooper STT's. Found this size to be excellent. You'll find that most tires in this size are a 10 ply rated which is bloody strong. It's a 32" tyre commonly fitted to Troopys and standard Landcruisers so they're easy to get in the out blocks.
I had a ARB suspension in it and didn't have any rubbing. Gives it a good lift and no more scubbing on the errosion mounds. Mine was the turbo diesel so no probs pushing this size.

I'm gonna try a bit more and see what happens. If it all gets too hard then I guess I'll just have to suck lemons and go to something else.
I know the frustration you're facing here and my advice is to grab a lemon and suck away
Seriously you know deep down the raider will not be able to meet your needs offroad now, and they're only going to get tougher.
I went through the same with my Diahatsu recently
My thinking was that I COULD spend thousands of $ on a lift and bigger tyres etc and have fun for a while but then I'd want transfer gears and a locker. At which point I'd be stuffed and turn around and sell the thing anyway. I would NOT recoup the $ recently spent on mods when selling it and would actually be likely to get less $ than originally because the paint etc would show wear from the wheeling I'd done with my new tyres and lift
My advice is get out now while you can get max. value for what you have and start from the right place instead of chasing your tail
