Front radius arm dimensions???

Post by MONGREL »

Hi rover people,

Just wondering if someone could give me some measurements from a front radius arm. I have a patrol and im toying with the idea of fitting rover arms in the front.
I've had a look under a 93 disco and the arms are very similar in design to the patrol.
Over all legnth and measurements from the mounting point to bush centre's would be great.

Thanks for any help.

Rover arms are practically the same length as nissan if you measure from chassis mount to centre of axle housing.

The pair of bushes at the axle end are much closer together than nissan. So to fit rover arms to a nissan will require modified mounting brackets. Best check if they will clear the tie-rod, as the rover arms are much straighter than nissan's.

Ok, well that makes things alot easier for me. Might be able to get away from drop boxes. Would measure for myself but not worth sourcing them if its not going to work. Both patrol and rover run under the arms, more dimension in relation to drop in the arm would be great?
